(A) 1st and 2nd generation of prostatosphere formation assay was performed on the v-Src transformed PEC cells. (B) The effects of Src-inhibitor Dasatinib and PP1 on prostatosphere formation of v-Src transformed PEC cells. The relative abundance of prostate cancer stem cell markers were assessed by FACS analysis, including (C) Sca1high cells increased 8-fold in v-Src PEC cells, (D) CD44+ CD133+ cells increased 6-fold and (E) CD49+ Sca1+ Trop2+ cells increased 2.4-fold compared to parental PEC.
