Comparison of HPLC retention times of 20S,23(OH)2D3 isomers produced chemically and enzymatically. Chemically synthesized isomer I (2 nmol) and isomer II (1 nmol) were combined (A,C) and analyzed by HPLC in comparison to 2 nmol enzymatically synthesized 20S,23(OH)2D3 (B,D). Isomer II (17b) was found to be the enzymatically produced isomer.
