Impact of human serum albumin (HSA) on the efficacy of PNA-TAT inhibition of MRSA Sanger 252. Anti-rpoA PNA–TAT at 4 × MIC was incubated with ~5 × 105 CFU/ml in Mueller-Hinton broth II, in the presence and absence of 4% HSA. Daptomycin and vancomycin 4 × MIC served as positive and negative controls, respectively. The experiment was carried out in triplicate for 12 hours at 37 ºC.
