Rank distribution of top HHalign hits between PLP1 active site motifs of arteriviruses and WPDV pp1ab. HMM profiles representing cysteine and histidine motifs of PLP1s of all non-WPDV arterivirus species, with the EAV PLP1a cysteine motif excluded, were compared with WPDV pp1ab. The 15 top hits were ranked in descending order of probability (indicated on the y axis).
