Increased percentages of activated CD11b+ cells correlated with reduced CD3ζ chain expression. CD3ζ chain expression was modeled as a function of the percentage of CD11b+ cells (A), CD11b+ CD15+ CD68 cells (B), and CD11b+ CD15 CD68 cells (C) within control subjects (C) and patients with uveal melanoma (U). A generalized additive model was used to generate a cubic spline (green). A broken-stick model was used to generate lines shown in black. Linear regression (blue line) was also used in (C).
