(b) The turnover number (TON) was calculated by subtracting the amount of remaining O₂^•– from the amount of O₂^•– in the control, dividing by the amount of PEG₈–PDI and then by 10 s for the reaction time (the average time required for manually freeze-trapping each EPR sample). Two similar experiments performed using 1.5 μM PEG₈–PDI concentration yielded similar kinetic pattern.
