Two, four, and six days after plating, cells were treated with 1α,25(OH)2D3 or MART-10 with indicated concentrations. The cell proliferation was measured by WST-1 method. (a) Both 1α,25(OH)2D3 and MART-10 inhibited SNU1079 cell proliferation dose-dependently with MART-10 much more potent than1α,25(OH)2D3. (b) SNU308 cell proliferation was repressed by 1α,25(OH)2D3 or MART-10 in a dose-dependent manner. MART-10 was more effective than 1α,25(OH)2D3. Each value is a mean ± SD of three to five determinations. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 versus control.
