TABLE II.

Integrated energy regions and the associated rise (τrise) and decay (τfd or τsd) times of the TRPES data on benzene, toluene, and p-xylene, “- -” denotes that no extra exponential function was needed to fit the data. Tentative assignments are indicated and discussed in the text, e.g., in the case of benzene the assignment of T3 is non-conclusive and the signal intensity should likely be ascribed excited S1** instead. The grey/shaded regions can be white/clear. They were only included to separate the toluene results from those of benzene and p-xylene.
