(a) Rat aortic rings were incubated in EGM alone (MOCK), EGM containing 20 μg ml⁻¹ control IgG or anti-VCAM-1-D6 IgG, EGM containing 20 ng ml⁻¹ mTNFα or EGM containing 20 ng ml⁻¹ mTNFα together with 20 μg ml⁻¹ control IgG or anti-VCAM-1-D6 IgG.
