MRI of a 36-year-old female patient with FAI is shown. In the coronal plane (A) and sagittal plane (B), the chondrolabral transitional zone was identified. In this case, a labral tear (arrows) was noted that allowed for clear differentiation between the labrum and acetabular cartilage.
