TIA-1 inhibits the antiapoptotic effects of FAST. HeLa cells were transfected with the indicated constructs, cultured in the absence (untreated) or presence (Fas) of anti-Fas antibody, and then processed for immunofluorescence microscopy using anti-HA (or anti-β-galactosidase), anti-active caspase 3, or Hoechst dye.
