Rats (n = 3 animals/each time point) were sacrificed at 0 (pre-administration), 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 24 h after oral administration of maoto (1 and 4 g/kg). Lung homogenate concentrations of EPD and MEPD were measured by LC-ESI-MS/MS analysis. The quantitation limits of EPD and MEPD were 5 and 0.1 ng/g tissue, respectively.
