Macrophages were incubated with 5 μg/ml PPE32 for 6 and 24 h, the cells were washed and subjected to Annexin V/PI strain. The results were visualized by fluorescence microscopy. Early apoptotic populations (Annexin V⁺/PI⁻, green color) or late apoptotic populations (PI⁺/Annexin V⁺, yellow color) and Necrotic (PI⁺/Annexin V⁻, red color) populations were compared.
