(a) W2 parasites were treated with 370 nM AN3661 or 1.3 μM chloroquine (CQ) for 8-h time intervals across the asexual erythrocytic cycle. Compounds were removed at the end of each 8 h interval, cultures were continued and parasitemias were determined after 48 h.
