(a) Dixon-RAVE scan of a 2-year-old pediatric patient. The extracted motion curve indicates that severe bulk motion occurred during the second half of the scan. Therefore, if all data are used for the reconstruction (black dashed box), image quality is degraded. When discarding the second half of the scan and only using the first 300 out of 600 acquired projections (orange dashed box), diagnostic image quality is obtained, fine details are visible, and a hypo-intense lesion (arrow) is clearly delineated.
