Aquatic polyphagan beetles previously recorded from the Lake St Lucia system and surrounding waterbodies. Literature sources are indicated by letters as follows: (a) Day et al. Museum and national collection material is as follows: SANC – South African National Collection of Insects; ISAM – Iziko South African Museum; DNMNH – Ditsong National Museum of Natural History.
