Pigment content of carotenoid fractions obtained for three consecutive partitioning subsequent to saponification in the diadinoxanthin and diatoxanthin purification procedure. Pigment content was determined by HPLC and expressed as a percentage value and as an absolute amount obtained from 2 × 109 diatom cells. The data are means of four replicates.
