Mean change of the central foveal thickness (CFT) in the experimental group treated with diclofenac for 7 days before surgery (full bars) and the control group receiving placebo (empty bars). The change was calculated as the difference in CFT between baseline measurement 7 days before the phacoemulsification and each control visit on the day of surgery (day 0) and 1, 7, 30, and 90 days after surgery.
