A hard information harvesting spotlight assumes that information within that spotlight that is proximal and distal to the point of gaze contributes equally to decisions. The plots are split by accuracy, mean (µ, AC) and variance (σ, BD) of the numbers on each trial. The soft and hard information harvesting spotlights show qualitatively identical patterns.
