Olfactory bulbectomy fails to recruit additional secretagogin+ cells in the RNA. (A) Bulbectomy increases the number of BrdU+ cells in the distal limb of the RMS (see Fig. 4 F and F′ for sampling). (BD) Secretagogin+ neurons remain BrdU following bulbectomy. (EG) Secretagogin+ neurons do not express DCX in the RMS, irrespective of bulbectomy.
