P2Y₂R-null VSMC were transfected with an osteocalcin promoter luciferase reporter gene, an internal control pRL-TK plasmid, a Runx2 expression plasmid, and a full length P2Y₂R expression plasmid as indicated. Lysates were harvested 48 h after transfection and were normalized to the expression of the pRL-TK plasmid. Results are presented as the mean ± SD of triplicates of cells and are representative of three independent experiments. ***p<0.001.
