Regeneration of the injured sciatic nerve. (A) No serious adhesion of the regenerated nerve to the surrounding tissue, or signs of inflammation, granuloma or pseudo neuroma, were observed. (B) Silicone tubes were fixed well, and there was a thin capsule around the tube. (C) At 12 weeks post-surgery, gaps in all groups were bridged continuously.
