Cells were incubated with or without 30 µM LeuLeu-OMe for up to 24 h. Samples were taken at the indicated time points and monitored for cell growth. Decreased cell number was observed after 2 h of LeuLeu-OMe treatment, while control cells continued to proliferate (see inset for comparison). Growth index was calculated as described in Methods. The results were presented as mean ± SD from 3 independent experiments.
