Prior to the raw data acquisition by using prospective motion correction the field of view is repositioned per k-space line excitation to remediate subject motion. After reconstruction, the data is bias field corrected and aligned to a common space. The pre-processed data is averaged and used as an initial template for the SyN registration²⁶. Subsequently, the registered data is averaged and used as a template for the following registration iterations. A total number of four iterations have been run to create the final averaged volume.
