Glutamate-activated cell signaling in hSCs. A) hSCs were treated with the indicated concentrations of glutamate for 10 min, with neurotrophin-3 (NT3; 10 nM), or with vehicle. B) hSCs were pretreated with MK801 (1 µM) for 30 min, then with glutamate (80 µM) or vehicle for 10 min. C) hSCs were pretreated with PD98059 (50 µM) or LY294002 (20 µM) for 30 min, then with glutamate (80 µM) or vehicle as indicated.
