Protein spots on the gels shown in (Figure 4, 4B-4E) with significant abundance changes (0 h sample as the reference) were subject to MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometry analysis. Subsequently the results were used for protein identification using the Mascot search engine to search the mouse and Toxoplasma databases. Proteins with Toxoplasma origin were shown.
