The surgery included laminectomy and after laminectomy, mice received a severe crush at the lumbar level (L1–L2) followed by the administration of a 2 μl drop of TSC1 as shown in Fig. 1B. This approach allowed immediate contact with the spinal cord tissue and rapid absorption of TSC1.
