Spoligotype dendrogram generated for representative clones of 97 clinical M. tuberculosis isolates from the Mymmensingh District of Bangladesh. The patterns obtained after computer analysis with Bionumerics software (version 3.0) are presented. The scale at the upper left indicates the band-based Dice similarity index, which was used with the unweighted pair group method with arithmetic averages algorithm. Spoligotype families, defined as described by Filliol et al. (10), are indicated on the right. Three known major spoligotype clusters were detected.
