Reaction conditions (right): 50 mL reaction volume, 2 g/L carrier, 45 mM Tris buffer at pH 8.0, 20 mM phenylmalonate, 400 rpm, 30°C. Between the batch experiments, the carrier was filtered and stored at 4°C.
