Intensive immunoflourescent labelings are noted around the vascular structures in addition to the filamentous and point pattern in the parenchyma in incubations performed with patients sera. Labelings with control serum are shown in the upper row. On the images taken with the same flourescence severity, occasional mild staining is found at the background and around the vessels in incubations performed with control sera, but negative immunoreactivity is present frequently as shown in the left column. In contrast, intensive immunoflourescent labeling is observed around the vessles following incubations with patients sera. Labelings with patient sera are shown in the left column and labelings with nuclear stain Hoechst are shown in the right column in the middle and lower rows. The arrows indicate vessels.
