Adenovirus expressing LacZ (Ad LacZ) or coronin 1A (Ad coronin 1A) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS) were injected onto calvariae in mice. (a–c) TRAP staining was performed on sections of calvarial bones. Scale bars, 200 μm. Data are means ± SD from four mice for each condition. (d) The void volume on the surface of the calvarial bone was determined by micro-computed tomography.
