TBO assay to probe surface -COOH molecule numbers for various UV/O3 (21.85 mW/cm2) activated COC substrates. Results show the relative –COOH molecules/cm2, normalized with respect to COC 6017, which showed the highest –COOH functional group density. As the norbornene increased, the relative amount of –COOH molecules increased as well. Error bars represent ±std of the relative –COOH molecules/cm2 (n=3).
