180-Day anatomic success rates of the study eyes.

Notes: Hazard of revitrectomy within 180 postoperative days was analyzed by log-rank test and compared between the eyes primarily operated with scleral buckling (blue; n=50) and pars plana vitrectomy (green; n=269). Success rate without reoperation within 180 days was 78.0% for scleral buckling and 91.8% for pars plana vitrectomy. P=0.001.
