a. Cells were exposed to the indicated temperature for 2h (37°C, 39°C, 41°C, 43°C or 45°C), and were further incubated at 37°C for 6h. The percentages of viability were assessed by CCK-8. b. Cells underwent intense heat stress (43°C) for 2h, and were further incubated at 37°C for the indicated times (0h, 1h, 3h, 6h, or 9h). The percentages of viability were assessed by CCK-8.
