The cells were transiently transfected with c-MET siRNA (cMETi), pSilencer/HPV16E6siRNA (E6i) or miR-23b precursor vector (23b) for 24 h. The cells were transfected with empty negative siRNA (N), pSilencer vector (S) or empty vector (V), respectively, in parallel. c-MET, phospho-MET (pMET), Akt, phospho-Akt (pAkt), Bad and phospho-Bad (Ser-136) (pBad (Ser-136)) protein expression levels were determined by western blot analysis. β-actin was served as the loading control. The relative expression levels were first normalized with that of β-actin and shown beneath the bands. Mean ± SD. *p<0.05, **p<0.01. A representative experiment was shown while similar results were obtained from at least three separate experiments.
