Relative values were presented in the table. A relative value was defined as the ratio of the score under a high temperature treatment to that under the control treatment for the same trait in the same variety. Different letters indicate significant differences among varieties under the same temperature treatment by a least significant difference (LSD) test at P < 0.05. A relative value less or more than 1.0 indicated a decrease or increase in a trait under a high temperature treatment compared with that under the control condition, respectively. Asterisks indicate significant differences when comparing the absolute mean of a trait under a given high temperature treatment with that under the control by LSD test at P < 0.05.
