Oxymatrine (OM) inhibits the migration of RKO cells. (A) The wound area distances of the UR group, 0.25 mg/ml OM-treated RKO group and 0.5 mg/ml OM-treated RKO group were 489.876±12.215, 480.055±11.725 and 487.545±8.687 µm at 0 h, respectively. There was no significant difference (P>0.05). After 24 h, the wound area distances of the 0.25 mg/ml OM-treated RKO group and 0.5 mg/ml OM-treated RKO group were 394.074±7.032 and 430.883±18.028 µm, respectively, which were obviously wider than the distance of the UR group (298.662±18.923 µm) (P<0.05). (B) The cell migration rates of the 0.25 mg/ml OM-treated RKO and 0.5 mg/ml OM-treated RKO groups were 17.88 and 11.62%, which were obviously lower than the migration rate of the UR group (38.95%). **P<0.01.
