Figure 6. — Effect of oxymatrine (OM) on the expression of TGF-β1 and PAI-1 by RT-PCR. RT-PCR demonstrated that the mRNA expression levels of TGF-β1 and PAI-1 were markedly increased in the UR group as compared to the FHC group. The mRNA expression levels of TGF-β1 and PAI-1 were significantly decreased in the OR group as compared to the UR group.
