( A) Plots of effect sizes (Cohen’s h), with corresponding 95% confidence intervals, associated with valspodar treatment on LPC frequency in peripheral blood. Effect sizes of valspodar treatment on changes in LPC frequency between all sampling time points are depicted. All calculated effect sizes were small, suggesting no effect of therapy on changes in peripheral blood LPC proportion between time points. However, the 95% confidence intervals are wide due to high variability in sample quality. t1=Day 0; t2=Day 4; t3=Day 11.
