Score 0–1 represents cognitively intact – mild cognitive impairment; 2–4 represents mild-moderate impairment; 5–8 represents moderate-severe impairment and 9–10 represents severe-very severe impairment; SLUMS – St Louis University Mental Status Exam. Score 1–19 dementia; 20–24 mild cognitive impairment; 25–30 normal.
