For the Pd_41.25Ni_41.25P_17.5 BMG, there is an anomalous exothermal peak at T_C∼612 K, highlighted by the shadow, which is ∼41 K below the crystallization peak at∼653 K. The C_P data for Pd₄₀Ni₄₀P₂₀, downward shifted by 80 J mol⁻¹ K⁻¹, are characteristic of a normal BMG, marked by a T_g and a crystallization peak; there is no DSC anomaly before crystallization. For both samples, the T_g∼570 K.
