Effect of interleukin (IL)-6 and IL-8 on the levels of sulfated glycosaminoglycans (sGAG), a marker of chondrogenesis. The levels of sGAG was significantly decreased in (A) IL-6-treated chondrogenesis pellets in a concentration-dependent manner. The levels of sGAG were not significantly decreased in (B) the IL-8-treated chondrogenic pellets. Significant differences between the 2 groups are indicated by a single asterisk (^*p<0.05).
