TCF21 suppresses tumorigenicity of human colorectal cancer cells in vivo.

Notes: The HCT116 cells that were transfected with TCF21-expressing lentivirus were subcutaneously injected into nude mice. The cells without any treatment were used as mock control, and the cells treated with empty lentivirus were used as negative control. (A) The tumor volume was monitored every 2 days. (B) The tumors were obtained from the mice. (C) Western blot analysis for TCF21, Kiss-1, PI3K, p-AKT, AKT, MMP2 and MMP9 in the xenografted tumor tissues, as well as (D) the quantification results of the Western blot.
