Human antigen R (HuR) inhibition in astrocytes inhibits chemoattraction of immune cells. (A) Conditioned media from injured astrocytes treated with MS-444 or vehicle was placed in the bottom well of a transwell plate and BV2 (left panel) or primary microglial cells (right panel) were seeded in the top well. At 24 h, the filters were removed and cells were stained with a Diff-Quik kit and counted under a light microscope. Representative micrographs are shown above. Scale bars: 30 μm.
