Schematic representation of ssTorA fusion constructs. Amino acid sequences of ssTorA when fused to the N-terminus or C-terminus of a recombinant protein of interest (POI), either in single, double, or triple format. As a result of the cloning procedure a threonine residue at the penultimate position of wild-type ssTorA is replaced by a serine. Furthermore, upon fusion of multiple ssTorA sequences, upstream ssTorA sequences lack the ultimate alanine residue
