RMSE with calibrated 9th order coefficients vs. vendor supplied 5th order coefficients, also compared across the 4 identical MR systems investigated. Note that for smaller DSV, the difference in RMSE is less pronounced as opposed the larger 500 mm DSV. Additionally, note that system 4 appears to have somewhat more correctable non-linearity versus systems 1–3. These differences highlight the importance of performing the calibration on a per-system basis.
