A. A549 and H1650 cells were treated with histone methyltransferase inhibitor (DZNep 10 mM) and/or VP16 (100 mM). Chromatin was immunoprecipitated using an antibody against RNA polymerase II or IgG as a control, and the enriched genomic miR-3196 promoter fragment was amplified using primers located at positions -1963 – -1753 of the promoter region. *P < 0.05, ** P < 0.01.
