Infarct size in vehicle-treated and luteolinidin-treated hearts. After 30-minute ischemia and 120-minute reperfusion, hearts were serially sectioned and stained with 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazolium chloride. Liposomal luteolinidin-treated hearts (Lut) had significantly less infarction than liposomal vehicle-treated hearts (control) after I/R. **P < 0.01 (mean ± S.E.M., n = 6–8).
