Gr1⁺ CD11b⁺ cells from late-sepsis NFI-A conditional knockout mice exhibit proinflammatory phenotypes. Gr1⁺ CD11b⁺ MDSCs were isolated from the bone marrow of sham treatment and septic mice. Cells (1 × 10⁶) were cultured with 1 μg/ml LPS for 24 h. Supernatants were collected and analyzed for TNF-α, IL-10, and NO production (measured as nitrite). The cells were harvested, lysed, and analyzed for arginase activity.
