The drugs promoted SH-SY5Y cell apoptosis (A) as shown by the increased expression of cleaved caspase-9 and cleaved caspase-3. The grey value of the protein band was analysed by Image J, and the relative expression of apoptosis was statistically analysed. Each value was presented as the mean ± SD of three independent experiments. These results were confirmed in SH-SY5Y cells and DRG neurons by TUNEL staining (D,E). Each experiment was performed at least 3 times. ***P < 0.001.
